About John Perkins
Following an undergraduate education at The University of Notre Dame and in the Chicago-Hutchins Great Books curriculum at Shimer College, John received a graduate degree in Theology from The Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Beginning in the mid 1960s, he was the analysand and later the protégé of the Jungian Analyst and writer, Robert A. Johnson, of San Diego, and in 1971-72 he studied with the late Joseph Campbell during Mr. Campbell’s final year on the teaching faculty of Sarah Lawrence College. Having previously resided in Princeton, NJ, John now lives and practices in nearby Lawrenceville. He is the author of three books: Rapture Alive, The Sacred Sinner, and Death and the Maiden, and a forthcoming volume regarding the psychology of the Undine and Euridice myths.
